Parents Association: Our Purpose


The purpose of the Parents Association is to support the students, families and staff of Dearborn Heights Montessori Center.  Two fundraisers are held during the year and typically take place in the fall.  All proceeds are used to support the maintenance of the outdoor habitat, a water system for the staff, to bring in speakers, and to enhance the school environment for all students.  A large projection screen and additional padding for the gym are examples of Parents Association purchases . Community-building events such as Movie Night provide a unique evening out at the school.  A week-long celebration in May is hosted for the staff.
