Our summer program provides consistent, enriched environments to further develop students' innate desire to learn. Children are surrounded by their friends, where it’s safe, fun and creative!
Our summer program is a nine-week (fourth week of June through the third week of August), Montessori-enriched program with weekly science or geography themes, daily math and language, physical education, art and technology. Our highly qualified, Montessori-certified DHMC teachers facilitate the program.
Summer campers enjoy water day each week, in-house presentations for all and weekly off-site field trips for our elementary campers. Snacks are provided along with a summer camp T-shirt.
Half and full day programs are available for preschool/kindergarten and elementary children. Camp runs from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with hours available before and after camp for families needing extra hours. The building opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m. The program is open to the public and available to all children between the ages of two years nine months and twelve years old.
